Born in Livorno (Italy) in 1982, Sara Longo studied piano as well as classical and jazz singing at the Paris Conservatory (Niedermeyer & Henri Dutilleux). Since 2010, she has been a jazz singer, in ensembles from duo to big band. With the Sara French Sextet, a manouche jazz band with original compositions, she toured Europe for more than 6 years, collaborating with Vincent Lochet, Corentin Giniaux, Aurélien Robert, Monica Acevedo, Zubanu Diarra and Clément Reboul, but also with international artists including Etienne Vincent, Maurizio Congiu and Richard Metairon.
Since 2015, her collaborations are varied, on the jazz scene, but also in the traditional Brazilian music, as Sara performs in contexts of Roda de Samba and Pagodas, Parisian but also Portuguese and Italian (on stage with Leo Rodriguez, Fred Martins and colectivo Zabumba). In 2020, after over 400 performances in Europe, he decides to live between Paris and Venice, where exciting new projects were born!
